Fiverr Affiliate Program 2026: Commission Rates, the Fiverr Pro Change & Payouts
Disclosure: This article contains affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through them, pro-reviewer.cyou may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only describe terms we could verify on Fiverr's own pages.
The Fiverr affiliate program changed quietly in autumn 2026, and most guides ranking for it still quote the old "$15 to $150 CPA" or "earn up to $1,000 per referral" numbers. Those figures are years out of date. This guide lays out what Fiverr actually pays today, what happened to the high-paying Fiverr Pro plan, how the 30-day window and $100 payout threshold work in practice, and which of the remaining plans makes the most sense for your kind of website.
Fiverr affiliate program at a glance (October 2026)
| Plan | First order (CPA) | Later orders | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fiverr Marketplace | 25% of the referred buyer's first order | 10% revenue share for 12 months | Sites about hiring freelancers, services, small business |
| Logo Maker | $30 fixed | 10% revenue share for 12 months | Startup, branding, side-hustle and small business blogs |
| Fiverr Pro (closed to new links) | 70% on links created before Oct 1, 2026, until Dec 31, 2026; then the 25% Marketplace rate | 10% for 12 months | Existing B2B content only |

How the Fiverr affiliate program works, step by step
- Apply. Fiverr says anyone can apply. You fill in the sign-up form and Fiverr reviews the application. If you already sell on Fiverr, register with the same email as your seller account.
- Build links. In the dashboard you can link to the Fiverr homepage, any category or gig search, or Logo Maker. Links use the go.fiverr.com/visit format with your affiliate ID and a brand code.
- A reader clicks and registers. Attribution is tied to registration: the visitor must create a Fiverr account within 30 days of clicking your link.
- The reader buys. Fiverr pays only for purchases. Their first-ever order (a "first-time buyer" or FTB order) earns the CPA, and their other orders for the next 12 months earn the 10% revenue share.
- You request payment once your balance reaches $100.
The single most important detail: clicks and sign-ups pay nothing. Fiverr's help center states it pays "for purchases only, not for clicks or registrations." That shapes everything about what content to create, which we cover below.
Fiverr affiliate commission rates explained with real math
Marketplace: 25% of the first order + 10% for a year
The Marketplace plan is now the default for almost everything on Fiverr. The first-order commission scales with what the new buyer spends. Some worked examples:
| Referred buyer's first order | Your CPA (25%) | If they spend another $300 that year | Total from that buyer |
|---|---|---|---|
| $40 (a simple logo or blog post) | $10 | $30 | $40 |
| $120 (a landing page design) | $30 | $30 | $60 |
| $600 (a Shopify store build) | $150 | $30 | $180 |
When Fiverr introduced percentage-based CPA in December 2023, its affiliate blog said the first-order commission is capped at $500. You would only reach that cap on a first order of $2,000 or more, so for most publishers the cap is theoretical.
Logo Maker: a flat $30
Logo Maker pays a fixed $30 on the referred buyer's first purchase, which Fiverr describes as equal to 100% of the basic package. Because the payout does not shrink with small orders, it is the most predictable plan for audiences who need a logo quickly and cheaply. If you are not sure whether Logo Maker suits your readers, our Fiverr Logo Maker review and the $30 vs $60 vs $90 package comparison explain what buyers actually get.
What happened to the Fiverr Pro plan?
Until recently, Fiverr Pro was the richest plan: 70% of the first order. Fiverr's help center now lists only the Marketplace and Logo Maker plans. According to the notice Fiverr sent affiliates (reported on September 30, 2026), the Pro plan closed to new links on October 1, 2026. Pro links created before that date keep earning 70% until December 31, 2026; from January 1, 2027 that traffic earns the 25% Marketplace rate.
What this means for you:
- If you are starting now, ignore any guide that tells you to "push Fiverr Pro for 70%". That option is gone for new links.
- If you already have Pro links in old posts, leave them live through December. They still pay at least the Marketplace rate afterwards.
- From 2027 there is no commission reason to steer readers toward Pro. Recommend it only when vetted talent genuinely fits the project.
Cookie, attribution and payouts: the fine print most guides skip
The 30-day window is about registration, not purchase
Fiverr's "How affiliate links work" help article ties attribution to registration within 30 days of the click. A reader who clicks today, registers in two weeks and places a first order two months later can still be credited to you, because the registration happened inside the window. The flip side: a visitor who already has a Fiverr account is not a first-time buyer, so the CPA will not apply to them.
Payout threshold, method and timing
- Minimum: $100 balance before you can request payment.
- Method: Fiverr's partnerships help center currently describes bank wire transfer, and asks for proof of your bank account on the first request. Older guides mentioning PayPal or Payoneer reflect earlier terms.
- Timing: net 30. In practice, a commission earned early in a month usually reaches your bank four to six weeks later.
For publishers outside the US or EU, check your bank's incoming wire fee before your first request. A $15 to $25 receiving fee eats a noticeable share of a $100 payout, so many affiliates wait until the balance is larger.
Rules that get Fiverr affiliate accounts in trouble
- Disclosure near the link. Fiverr's Affiliate Marketing Policy requires a clear disclosure close to affiliate links, with wording such as "Sponsored" or "Fiverr Promoter". A footer-only disclosure is not enough.
- No invented coupons. Only use discounts Fiverr provides through the program. Publishing codes found elsewhere breaks the policy.
- No paid ads straight to Fiverr. Fiverr's "How to promote Fiverr" article says not to run paid ads that drive traffic directly to Fiverr. Treat brand bidding as off limits unless your affiliate manager approves it in writing.
- Honest experience only. The policy says affiliates should not discuss experience with a service they have not tried. Write about what you checked (listings, prices, policies) rather than implying a purchase you did not make.
Which content actually earns with the Fiverr affiliate program?
Because Fiverr pays on a first purchase, content that reaches people right before they hire converts far better than "make money on Fiverr" content, which attracts would-be sellers. Formats that match buyer intent:
1. "How much does X cost on Fiverr" pages
Price questions sit at the last step before an order. A page that explains typical price ranges for a service and links to the matching Marketplace category lines up perfectly with the 25% CPA.
2. How-to-hire and safety guides
First-time buyers worry about scams, refunds and fees. A practical checklist such as our guide to hiring on Fiverr safely answers those worries and earns trust before the click.
3. Tool walkthroughs
New features bring new searches. Our walkthrough of Fiverr Mira, the AI headhunter, is an example: readers learning a feature are often about to use it.
4. Logo and branding comparisons
Comparisons of Logo Maker with hiring a designer, or with other AI logo tools, pair naturally with the flat $30 plan.
5. Use sub-IDs from day one
Fiverr's link builder supports tracking parameters. Tag each article and each button placement so you can see which pages send buyers, not just clicks.
Is the Fiverr affiliate program worth it in 2026?
Worth it if your readers are small business owners, creators or marketers who regularly need design, writing, video, development or marketing work. The 12-month revenue share rewards audiences who keep ordering, and the Logo Maker plan gives a clean $30 on low-ticket orders.
Less suited if your audience mostly wants to sell on Fiverr, already has Fiverr accounts, or arrives from paid ads. In those cases first-time-buyer CPAs will be rare.
No affiliate program guarantees income, and we do not publish earnings projections. What you earn depends on your traffic, its buying intent, and how well your content answers the question a buyer has right before ordering.
